COLLECTIONS DEPARTMENT LEAD - COLLECTIONS


Summary: Provides support to collection management relating to daily work flow while maintaining account collection duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Opens and closes building when appropriate to ensure daily workload is ready for the staff to begin work at scheduled time
  • Responsible for communicating goals and creating initiatives to drive performance
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels are met to provide adequate account coverage
  • Studies and standardizes policies and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Responsible for escalated collection calls
  • Assists manager in setting/obtaining strategic planning goals
  • Active involvement in the recruiting and selection process
  • Maintains flexibility to cover collection management team for schedule changes
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance
  • Serve as a resource and enforcement of all policy and procedural questions or issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned by department manager
  • Exhibits and communicates SNAAC Values throughout the building

Requirements:
  • 2-4 years collection experience
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to manage competing demands and prioritize work load
  • Expected to function at a high level while performing multiple tasks
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proven record of achieving high performance standards
  • Experience leading and guiding associates from orientation through full function
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills
Education and Experience Requirements: High school or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred) and Two years lead experience (three years preferred)

PAY: $15 - $17 per hour plus monthly incentives based upon Performance
