Brand Manager- Auto Related Insurance Products


SNAAC – Mason, Ohio

SUMMARY:

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including: identifying product and customer requirements, establishing product marketing programs and strategies, defining product vision and working closely with sales, establishing goals, implementing programs and ensuring goals are met / exceeded. The Product Manager’s is also responsible to make sure that the programs are consistent with the overall strategy, goals and objectives of SNAAC. The Product Manager will be responsible for maintaining any 3rd party vendor relationships that are in place for product assigned.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Define product strategy and roadmap.
  • Coordinate the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of the individual product line.
  • Ensures adherence to master plans, schedules, develops solutions to program / product problems, and completed on time and within established budget.
  • Aids in the negotiation of contracts, licensing and maintaining the business relationship with any supporting vendor/partner.
  • Acts as expert and advisor to sales force by delivering DDR’s and DSR"s with proper training and education regarding features necessary to completely promote programs.
  • Consistent research of assigned product line industry in order stay aware of industry trends and best practices. Become and expert with respect to the competition.
  • Act as a leader within the company and product development team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum of 5 years in Product/Program/Product Management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, defining and launching products.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Financial Services related industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations to large and small groups.
  • Strong interpersonal, coaching and communications skills.
  • Experience in monitoring product industry trends and research.
  • Ability to work individually on a product and function within a team.
  • Proven ability to influence cross – functional teams without formal authority.
  • Must be able to travel 10-20% of time.
  • Knowledge of Auto Industry highly preferred 3
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred

PAY:

 

$45,000 - $55,000 /Year plus bonus $8K-$18K annually based upon performance.
